Kuya, You Don’t Have the Balls!

April 2, 2007 by ilovedionne

Pinoy Big Brother, now on it’s second season, found itself in trouble with MTRCB, a national paper reported.  Of course, they are refering to Dionne’s “naughty actuations” (as the newspaper called it).

The network readily apologized to MTRCB.  In his letter, Dyogi told MTRCB that they would “avoid giving expore to Dionne.”  Why should she be punished for the decision the producers and directors made?

Dionne did NOT even do the-inserting-of-the-hand-under-the-underwear with malice.  She did NOT do it to touch Zeke’s penis.  The only intention was to put sunblock lotion sa lahat ng parts ng katawan.

So ok, she was careless.  And if it offended some people, why then did the director and producers showed it to the public?

Don’t the producers know what’s supposed to be aired on primetime?  Ever heard of self-regulation? They’re supposed to know better because after all, they’ve done three PBBs already, right?

Why did they choose that certain scene and angle?  What was the point in showing that, exactly?

Dionne did not do that task with malice.   But certainly, airing it on primetime was very malicious.

Dionne’s mistake was that she inserted her hand in Zeke’s underwear, because she could have chosen to just put sunblock on Zeke’s butt like the other girls.  The network’s mistake was that they DELIBERATELY showed what they know would raise controversy.

And that cost Dionne dearly.  Her good name.  The name she has built for herself for the past 21 years.

PBB’s producers don’t have the balls to stand up for what they’ve done and punish Dionne instead.

They don’t have the balls to accept that they showed those videos to get the ratings.

Big Brother, you don’t have the balls.  Be man enough!

MTRCB’s Laguardia thinks that that scene with Dionne and Zeke was “really vulgar and indecent.”  So what does she call THIS?

These PBB producers and directors have done this malicious airing of scenes many times before.   Why blame it on Dionne?  The decision to air particular scenes lay in their hands.

WE should get together to do something about this. Personally I don’t like ABS-CBN. There is a long list of ugly things they do for ratings, and that’s what they really care about. What have they done for the people that died during the WOWOWEE stampede? I am pissed that Dionne is just another casualty. *gritting teeth*

dionne is a friend of mine as well… and i am soooo irritated with pbb… it seems as if they’re using her just to conjure some controversy and put drama into the show… they’re being so insensitive, especially to dionne… hindi nila naisip na sinisira nila ang tingin ng mga tao kay dionne!… and it really really bites to hear (or read) those judgments (nakakadagdag pa ng inis yung mga kabarokan ng mga tao… sorry) when you’ve been with dionne, knowing how friendly, generous and loving she is (which pbb never showed on tv… they keep on making her look bad)…

let’s keep on voting people… we’re gonna keep dionne on the show until the big night!!!!

  • Dionne-ism #1

The truth is that this meanness directed at Dionne shouldn’t surprise us. It’s a pattern already evident even in Cleopatra-ruled Egypt. The ugly girls gossip and connive. The beautiful ones dazzle. Malice is always a good outlet for envy. (Chin)
